How to determine if the soundproof office pod is leaking?
The most direct method to determine whether the soundproof office pod is leaking is the pressure difference method. By applying pressure or extracting air into the cabin and observing changes in pressure gauge readings, if the pressure is stable, the seal is good; otherwise, there is leakage.
Subjective feelings are also important. After closing the cabin door, if the external noise significantly decreases and the cabin is quiet and windless, it usually indicates good sealing. You can also light a stick of incense in the cabin and observe whether smoke escapes through the gaps, which is also a common way to check the sealing.
Professional evaluation is more accurate. In addition to the pressure difference method, the smoke method will also be used to locate the leakage point by observing the smoke flow path. For scenarios with extremely high requirements, leakage rate (such as Pa · m ³/s) will also be measured to quantify sealing performance.
During daily maintenance, it is necessary to regularly check whether the sealing strip is aging or deformed, and whether the gaps between doors and windows are tight. These will directly affect the sealing effect.
